Summer offers a whole new set of difficulties when washing your car. The largest difference is of course the bugs.  Living in Winnipeg, we know all about the bugs.

1.  Bug, bird droppings and tree sap can harm paint finishes, wash off ASAP.
2.  Use a clear coat paint protectant to help guard against UV rays.
3.  Use a tire dressing to help protect against UV rays from the sun.
4.  Wash on a regular basis and use a wheel brightener for extra cleaning to help prevent brake dust damage to mag wheels.
5.  Wax or polish paint to remove oxidation and keep finish in premium condition.

These are some of our suggestions. In our each of our wash processes, we put on a wheel brightener to help clean the brake dust off. During our gold washes, we put on a tire dressing. If you wish, we can put a wax coat on to help with protection from the elements.

Cold Weather Washing Tips

Washing your vehicle in the winter can lead to a few little problems. Problems such as the locks freezing, door seals freezing shut, gas caps freezing closed and even fogged up windows. We do our best to help avoid these troubles by blowing out locks and wiping door jams but we cannot do everything

.  

Here are some tips that will help you to avoid those little problems.

1.  Wash when your vehicle is warm on the inside.
2.  Leave your door on the first latch for a few minutes after washing with heater on high.
3.  Work doors, trunk and locks a few times after parking.
4.  Use lock de-icer in your locks after washing. Keep it in your coat pocket or purse, not in your vehicle.
5.  Don't set your emergency brake for a few hours, it may freeze.

Now these are our suggestions. You can also take your own steps to ensure your vehicle doesn't freeze up on you. If you would like to have something wiped down that is not normally included in our procedure, just ask and we will be happy to help you out.
